Oraura

Oraura is a business service company with a focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. Both concepts are indissolubly connected. To turn innovation into business, you need entrepreneurship, an entrepreneurial culture and people who want to make a difference.

From idea to business plan, from opportunity to business, and from business to thriving companies, that is our business.

We focus on:

  • Entrepreneurs to grow their business faster
  • Large corporates to connect to innovative small businesses and researchers
  • Entrepreneurial teams to develop their idea into a business plan

We are hands-on, pragmatic, transparent in our activities and highly result driven. We don’t like writing lengthy reports or setting up complex processes.

We run Bootcamps for corporates where teams turn their ideas to underpinned business opportunity plans. The corporate’s venture boards then decides to create the venture, incubate, spin-off or abandon the plan. From time to time we also set up Open Bootcamps where teams  from different companies sit together and work on the creation of their own business opportunity plan.

We launch Innovation Challenges  within specific industries where we bring together large corporates  (looking for breakthrough innovations) and small businesses and research projects (looking for access to markets, finance, development, marketing) to assess the possibility to develop business together.

We work methodically with proven formulas and process driven towards tangible results. We cherish  flexibility but shun ad-hoc solutions. We create value by rolling up our sleeves and bringing our knowledge, expertise and network together to generate business.

In short, we  deliver results.

Roland Nobels, a successful serial entrepreneur himself, has a long career in boosting companies to realise their full potential.  He is fascinated by the intersection of human creativity, technology and economics as a means to shape the world. Fostering entrepreneurship is the fil rouge of his career.

His drive is challenging individual entrepreneurs on the assumptions their business case is based upon. Honest feedback and respect for the entrepreneur's endeavours are the basic ingredients of his approach.

Sien Luyten keeps being amazed by the human capacity to come up with bold and bright answers for small and big problems. She very much likes technological solutions to be eloquently transformed into sustainable business (cases).  Brand management and reputation building are the main themes of her career.

(Technology) entrepreneurs have broken up quite a few industry sectors and will keep doing so to solve pressing issues like energy supply, demographic issues, health and education, communications, etc. She takes great pride in being a link in these creativity chains.
